Creating a custom bank website from the ground up allows for evaluation of what came before and enhancement for what comes next.
Custom bank website takes a personal approach
Q: How can a small community bank compete with national financial institutions?
A: Embrace what makes you unique to engage customers and prospects alike.
That’s the beauty of a custom bank website. You can adopt the website resources and functionality that larger banks boast but put your own individual spin on them.
Which is exactly what Security State Bank did.
A single-branch bank in Hibbing, Minn., Security State Bank chose to partner with BrownBoots to produce a bank website that conveys the same personal-yet-professional atmosphere customers can expect when visiting in person.
As an alternative to stock imagery, www.ssbhibbing.com elected to adorn the bank website with many local photographs wherever possible. Furthermore, the staff page features portraits of employees as well as their email addresses to provide a personal touch.
To showcase their commitment to the community, Security State Bank created both Foundation and Community pages.
Taking the custom-website approach also afforded us the opportunity to reorganize the site’s navigation. Repositioning the business banking section to the first slot shows the bank’s increasing focus on local businesses.
Bottom line: the new website not only looks wonderful and welcoming, it’s easy to use too.
