Responsive bank website receives national recognition

3/27/15

We’re pleased to report that one of BrownBoots’ bank website design projects has been recognized among the most inspirational responsive websites in the banking industry.

The Horicon Bank website (http://www.horiconbank.com/) got an A+ in The Financial Brand’s “25 Inspirational & Responsive Banking Website Designs.” The responsive bank website, which launched in June 2014, brings all of the culture and personality of Horicon Bank’s brick-and-mortar branches to the bank’s online experience.

To achieve this goal — and to help get a leg up in an industry filled with lackluster, cookie-cutter websites — Horicon Bank embraced a level of creativity often lacking in bank website design.

A responsive bank website requires in-depth planning, which requires input from designers and developers right from the beginning. Each element of the site must be considered for a desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones. The result is a dynamic yet consistently optimal experience no matter which device your customers use to visit your site.

Since customers more and more use bank websites from their mobile phones and tablets — from researching products to accessing online banking — BrownBoots designs and develops all of our bank websites to be fully responsive. As mobile device traffic continues to grow, banks and credit unions simply cannot afford to limit the information to one type of user experience or device.
